Creative postproduction boutique Wild(child) has hired editor Sven Herrmann. The trilingual Herrmann has more than 15 years of experience working with agencies such as Y&R, Grey, Publicis, McCann Erickson, Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, BBDO, DDB, JWT, Euro RSCG and Lowe in both the English and Hispanic Markets.

Herrmann studied architecture in his native Mexico before establishing himself as a freelance editor and post producer – making time to explore graphic design, illustration, photography, music and even aviation along the way. “The amazing thing about Sven is that he’s able to bring so many different perspectives to the edit suite,” said Wild(child) founder Yvette Pineyro. “He has an architect’s eye for detail and structure, a musician’s ear for timing, and a designer’s aesthetic sense. That sort of well-roundedness adds a great deal to the equation when you’re collaborating with top creatives.”

Earlier this year, Herrmann netted two Gold ADDY awards for his work on the Verizon FiOS “Orchestra” spot, winning the editing and best in show categories.

“This is an incredible moment for Wild(child),” noted EP Amy Lazarus. “We’ve seen an amazing influx of talent over the past year, and we’re producing work that truly reflects our growing capabilities in both quantity and quality.”
