The IDEAS department at LA Valley College will be holding a special day for camera assistants, Aug. 6 starting with an open panel discussion with some of the finest and most experienced 1st ACs, operators and DPs. Scheduled speakers include DP James Chressanthis, 1st ACs Richard Mosier and Mark Colicci, along with operators Michael Genne SOC and Bruce Pasternack. The moderator will be 20-year veteran 1st AC, Richard Marks.
Next, Local 600 representatives will answer questions and discuss contract issues. After lunch, Arri will present a class on the Alexa camera.
