“Photo and video editors demand incredible, proven color precision,” said J.Y. Hu, vice president, business line management at BenQ America Corp. “The SW2700PT was the only display device to be recognized by TIPA in 2016, a prestigious international industry advocate, while Technicolor is a trusted certification body. These accomplishments validate our continuing effort to lead the professional markets with purpose-engineered visual devices tailored for specific vertical applications, giving creative professionals powerful monitor options that meet the highest design standards for color accuracy.”

In its 26th year, TIPA holds a yearly General Assembly comprised of the top editors from 30 member publications leading the photography and imaging industries to select nominees for the TIPA Awards, renowned as the most influential product awards in global photo and imaging markets. Products endorsed by the TIPA Awards logo pass the most rigorous evaluations by the organization’s technical committee and publication editors, and an annual TIPA Award Winner indicates the very best product introduced to the market in the preceding 12 months. The 2016 TIPA General Assembly voting took place in San Francisco in April, and trophies for the winning companies will be presented at Photokina, Cologne, Germany on Sept. 20, 2016.
