Encore, (part of the Deluxe Entertainment Services Group), announced its expansion into the New York market. Encore’s New York location is based out of Deluxe’s state-of-the art facility and offers the same caliber television post and visual effects (VFX) work as Encore in Hollywood. Deluxe New York’s existing TV post operations will be rolled-up under the Encore brand name.
“Having a location in New York and working as a unified group is especially exciting for all of us at Encore,” said Bill Romeo, senior vice president of television for Deluxe. “The New York facility has a talented team in place and collectively we provide the most robust postproduction and visual effects offering for television in the industry.”
Encore Hollywood’s credits include such shows as Fox‘s House and ABC‘s Castle. Encore’s New York-based visual effects group will draw on a highly skilled pool of local artists and cutting-edge technology to serve the region.
“With television production in New York growing at a compelling rate, the timing is perfect for our move here,” said Romeo. “New York TV productions now have easy access to Encore-quality services with the ability to make use of local tax incentives.”
Current Encore, New York credits include HBO‘s Treme, and CBS‘s Blue Bloods and upcoming NYC 22.
