FotoKem’s Keep Me Posted Adds Third Nucoda Film Master to its Lineup

-

Image Systems, (formerly Digital Vision), announced that Burbank-based Keep Me Posted (KMP) has purchased a third Nucoda Film Master system in response to growth in the television and promo business at KMP.

Owned by FotoKem, KMP is a postproduction facility specializing in finishing for episodic television, commercials, promos and trailers. The company has fully integrated the Nucoda Film Master, creating an end-to-end, file-based, Avid-centric TV pipeline. KMP’s most recent purchase of the Nucoda Film Master includes the new Precision panel control surface.

KMP purchased its first Nucoda Film Master in mid-2010, adding a second shortly thereafter. This summer, KMP put the third system in place to bolster color grading capabilities on the majority of their TV shows.

“We have had a very positive experience working with the Nucoda Film Master and the team from Image Systems. Keep Me Posted works with leading producers, directors, and companies creating programming for networks, studios and agencies; that means there is significant demand on schedules, budgets and creativity. In the midst of a very busy pilot and television season, the tools of the Film Master supported the demands of dozens of shows. Its ability to fit into an Avid-based workflow so beautifully was a critical factor, and an important aspect to its success in our television business,” says Hawk Hamilton, KMP’s VP of sales.

Jim Garrow of KMP notes, “As a colorist, it’s critical that there is a technical infrastructure that supports the work, but it is the color tools that are of predominant importance to me. The Nucoda Film Master provides the technical flexibility and pipeline integration. Its outstanding grading capabilities have enabled us to give our customers what their images deserve.”
