Electric Picture Solutions (EPS) has hired Marc Fishman as director of sales. Fishman will report to EPS CEO David Pincus and David Goodman, managing general partner, and will seek to expand the client base in the independent film market.
“The independent film market is an area that continues to grow exponentially,” says Pincus. “Marc is a great asset to the EPS team because of his experience with indie filmmakers.”
A graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara, Fishman began his career in the entertainment industry in film sales at Warner Bros. His ability to provide clients with outstanding customer service landed him a position at Technicolor as traffic manager. From there he went to Deluxe as the studio account manager in the film laboratory. His accumulated experience with both studio and film labs led to a natural progression into postproduction, striking out on his own as a postproduction supervisor/consultant for independent films. As a result of this experience Marc moved on to HTV as the director of sales.
“I came to EPS because as a post production supervisor I knew that the team here offered more than just rentals,” said Fishman. “They design workflows for all the major studios in both film and TV, plus their ‘Technotherapy’ approach sets them apart from their competitors. Independent filmmakers can turn to EPS for solutions that will result in studio feature film quality.”
