Safety for Sarah Calls for a Moment of Silence

-

LR-Safety for SarahTo commemorate the second anniversary of camera assistant Sarah Jones‘ tragic death on the set of the independent film Midnight Rider, The Sarah Jones Film Foundation is calling on production crews around the world to observe a moment of silence Feb. 20.

Film, television and commercial productions can commemorate their moment of silence by posting photos on the “Safety For Sarah” Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SafetyForSarah/), Twitter @slatesforsarah or Instagram with #safetyforsarah.

The foundation is also reminding filmmakers to speak up if something doesn’t look safe.

Richard Jones, Sarah’s father, wants the moment to bring attention to film safety so that what happened to his daughter when safety was pushed aside never happens again.
