Optics is hosting an experimental newworking event called DOP Roulette next Friday, November 20, between 10AM and noon Pacific, as part of this year’s virtual EnergaCAMERIMAGE.
Hosted by comic actor and impressionist Anil Desai in the Cooke Virtual Casino, a roulette wheel will be spun and you’ll end up in a small group setting for conversation with one of the event’s DOP guests. Some of the confirmed DOP guests include Lawrence Sher ASC, Dan Mindel ASC BSC SASC, Roberto Schaffer AIC ASC, Barry Ackroyd BSC, Anthony Dod Mantle BSC, Rodney Charters ASC, Patrick Lin and Adam Habib from Pixar Animation Studios, Laurie Rose BSC, Christopher Ross BSC, Christopher Aoun, Geoff Boyle NSC, Oliver Stapleton BSC, Jess Hall ASC BSC and Nicolaj Bruel, as well as more special guests to be announced.
