The Television Academy today announced that its first round of online nomination voting has commenced for the 68th Emmy Awards. The more than 20,000 active voting members of the Television Academy can now cast their ballots online to determine this year’s Emmy nominees at vote.TelevisionAcademy.com. Voting ends June 27 at 10:00 pm PT. The Academy will announce the resulting Emmy nominations the morning of Thursday, July 14,2016 from the Wolf Theatre at its new Saban Media Center in North Hollywood, CA.In tandem with online voting, the Academy is unveiling this year’s Emmy key art on their website.
The 68th Emmy Awards, including the star-studded Red Carpet preshow, will telecast live from The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Sunday, September 18 (7:00-11:00 pm ET/4:00-8:00 pm PT) on ABC. Emmy Award-winning live television and event producer Don Mischer will executive produce the broadcast hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
