The Guild of Music Supervisors held its landmark 10th annual award ceremony on February 6, 2020 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, celebrating outstanding achievement in the craft of Music Supervision in movies, television, games, advertising, and trailers.
Over 1,000 attendees joined the Guild to honor the 31 crafts makers, who were recognized for their stellar musical accomplishments in 2019. Industry music legends Burt Bacharach and Bob Hunka crowned the evening as Bacharach received this year’s Icon Award, and Hunka received the prestigious Legacy Award.
Special guest performers included Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Regina Spektor and the indie pop band Lola Marsh, with both artists taking two of the evening’s awards home. The statues were handed out by a star-studded slate of presenters, including Kristen Chenoweth, Michael Bolton, Daniel Ezra, Dash Mihok, Jay Roach, Reggie Watts, Spencer Paysinger, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Alex Winter, and Peter Gallagher.
