The International Trade Association for the Broadcast and Media Industry (IABM) is hosting a State of the Industry webinar on Thursday, December 10 at 9AM PST, along with ARRI.
The panelists will include IABM’s Head of Knowledge Lorenzo Zanni; HBO Senior Vice President, Production Operations, Steve Berres; Phillip Squyres, Sony Pictures Television‘s Senior VP of Technical Operations; filmmakers Ian and Esholm Nems, whose film Fatman, starring Mel Gibson, was recently released; Cinelease National Director of Operations Gerardo “Gary” Paz; and Francois Gauthier, Technical Sales Representative at ARRI Canada.
Zanni will provide a statistical analysis of the year as well as emerging trends across the globe, while the webinar is described as such:
“Join experts from the broadcast, cinema, rental, and streaming industries to explore how recent events have impacted broadcast and cinema production globally. We will discuss the industry’s response, challenges as well as the outlook and emerging trends for 2021. We will also explore new technology such as remote video production and virtual reality stages.”
