POP Sound and Soundelux DMG Combine Forces

-

Pacific Ocean Post (POP) announced a merger with Soundelux Design Music Group (DMG). Moving forward under the POP banner, the combined company will offer expanded capabilities to serve the creative and technical requirements of content creators.

In addition to the merger, POP has recently announced a significant extension of its lease commitment for the Santa Monica-based facility, as well as a substantial renovation project currently under development to upgrade its amenities and technical infrastructure.

The company plans to expand its reach into the interactive entertainment market through the addition of creative talent and business development teams from Soundelux DMG, led by industry veteran Cathy Tische, who has been named as the merged company’s new vice president and general manager.

POP also announced that Paula Arnett has joined the company as executive producer – sales.

“POP is home to a group of highly talented and committed professionals with an incredible passion for their work,” said David Alfonso, owner of POP. “There is much common ground to be found between the two teams, and by finally merging the resources and creative brainpower of these two groups, we are unlocking a great deal of potential that will offer meaningful benefit to content creators.”

“This merger represents a natural evolution for our two companies,” said Tische. “These are two groups of people who already worked really well together, and who clearly desired to work even more closely together as part of the same team. Our combined resources will greatly benefit the creative community working on the Westside, and we are particularly excited to strengthen our presence in the market.”
