Oscar-Nominated Production Designers and Set Decorators to Participate in Panel Discussion

This year’s Academy Award-nominated production designers and set decorators will participate in a panel to discuss their nominated films and what it took to design and decorate them on Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. at the Egyptian Theatre (6712 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood). The Art Directors Guild and the Set Decorators Society of America are presenting this panel for the seventh successive year as part of American Cinematheque’s awards season seminars. Excerpts from each nominated film will be shown prior to the production designers and set decorators discussing their work.

ADG president emeritus Thomas Walsh and Academy governor Rosemary Brandenburg, SDSA will moderate the discussion. Panelists include Sarah Greenwood (production designer) and Katie Spencer (set decorator) from Anna Karenina; Dan Hennah (production designer), Ra Vincent and Simon Bright (set decorators) from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey; Eve Stewart (production designer) and Anna Lynch-Robinson (set decorator) from Les Misérables; David Gropman (production designer) and Anna Pinnock (set decorator) from Life Of Pi, and Rick Carter (production designer) and Jim Erickson (set decorator) from Lincoln.
