Silver Linings Playbook is the first film in 31 years to be nominated in all four acting categories. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence and were nominated for best actor and actress, while Robert De Niro and Jacki Weaver were nominated for best supporting actor and actress respectively. The film was also nominated for best motion picture, best directing, (David O. Russell), best editing, (Jay Cassidy and Crispin Struthers), and best adapted screenplay.
