The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) has announced the nominees in motion picture, television, commercials and theatrical production categories for its 8th Annual MUAHS Guild Awards that will be presented virtually on April 3, 2021. There are 21 categories total with three of the categories having ties that allowed for more than five nominees.
MUAHS President Julie Socash announced the nominations representing a spectrum of outstanding achievements in make-up and hair styling in motion pictures, television, commercials and live theater.
In the five motion picture categories, Bill & Ted Face the Music received the most nominations (four) since it was able to straddle the line between contemporary and period with its time travel premise.

The Distinguished Artisan award will be announced shortly.
