LAPPG Presents Eliminating the Gap Between Wrap and Edit Webinar on Nov. 16

-

On Weds., Nov. 16, the Los Angeles Post Production Group (LAPPG) is joining with Adobe company Frame.io to present an online Zoom webinar titled, Eliminating the Gap between Wrap and Editor. Examining how the “camera to cloud workflow” is making the transition from production to post much quicker, this webinar will take place at 4:00 pm PT/7:00pm ET, and you can register here.

The presenters for the webinar are Laura Pursley and Jason Druss, who are Product Marketing Managers for Frame.io (bios below) and the program description says:

Camera to Cloud workflow is impacting creative teams in new and exciting ways. Join Adobe’s Laura Pursley and Jason Druss as they discuss the democratization of the hardware necessary, how camera makers like Red and Fujifilm are building this function directly into their latest cameras, and -most importantly- the benefits to editors and creative storytelling in post-production.

Laura Pursley’s bio:

With a career spanning movie marketing, independent film production, and imaging technology, Laura Pursley brings deep audience knowledge and communication prowess to her work within Frame.io and Adobe. Pursley previously launched the FX9, FX6, and FX3 cameras while at Sony Electronics. She was also instrumental in the expansion of post house Light Iron from its origin in Hollywood to locations in New York, New Orleans, and Atlanta. Pursley frequently volunteers as a career mentor, and is an expert grower of heirloom tomatoes.

Jason Druss’ bio:

Jason Druss honed his skills as a Colorist working at WarnerMedia Studios and NFL Films. For several years, he toured the country as a Davinci Resolve Product Specialist & Spokesperson at Blackmagic Design. Druss is a member of Colorist Society International (CSI), and a proud Philadelphian.
