Motion design company, Toil, announced that Michael Frederick will join the company as co-creative director, leading their team of designers in future endeavors. In recent weeks, the shop has expanded both its staff and office in response to growing demand.

“It’s a privilege to be joining forces with the talented group at Toil at this exciting time in the company’s growth,” said Frederick. “The studio embodies a strong mission to produce great work for great clients. I’m excited to assist in fostering that creative vision forward in the next chapter of the company’s evolution.”

Frederick has a track record of creative storytelling and solving client’s problems. As design director for various studios, he has led teams on award-winning branding and advertising campaigns for clients including Showtime, ABC, CBS, Fox, ESPN, Disney and Discovery Channel. He also recently led the network redesign for HBO.

“We are incredibly excited to have Mike on board,” Toil creative director Joey Korenman. “He’s a true artist, and brings a level of design, experience, and professionalism that few people can match. Mike is going to be a big part of the effort to bring Toil to the next level.”

Focusing on advertising clientele, Toil launched in October 2010 as a company dedicated to high-end motion design for all digital platforms. Toil serves clients in the New England area and beyond, weaving artistic visuals through a broad range of branded entertainment.
