The Academy announced that 16 features have been submitted for consideration in the animated feature film category for the 88th Academy Awards.
Several of the films have not yet had their required Los Angeles qualifying run. In any year in which 16 or more animated feature films are eligible, a maximum of five motion pictures may be nominated.
The submitted features are:
