The Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE Local 800) has announced that their website, ADG.org, has been nominated for Best Architecture and Design Website in the 23rd Annual Webby Awards. The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the internet. Over 13,000 entries were received for consideration of this year’s Webby Awards. Winners are announced on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, and honored at a star-studded ceremony on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Cipriani on Wall Street in New York City.
Design duo Anton & Irene were enlisted to create ADG’s new digital home in 2017. The new website was launched in July of 2018; delivering a well-crafted and visually compelling online presence that represents all Local 800 Guild members including Production Designers and Art Directors; Scenic, Title and Graphic Artists; Set Designers and Model Makers; and Illustrators and Matte Artists.
