The Cinema Audio Society (CAS) has set the date and timetable for the 52nd Annual CAS Awards, which recognize outstanding sound mixing in film and television as well as technical achievement in production and postproduction.
The timeline is as follows:
- Oct. 12 – Entry submission form available online on the CAS website at www.cinemaaudiosociety.org
- Nov. 13 – Entry submissions due by 11:59 p.m. PST
- Dec. 21 – Nomination ballot voting begins
- Jan. 04 – Nomination ballot voting ends at 11:59 p.m. PST
- Jan. 12 – Final nominees in each category announced
- Jan. 27 – Final voting begins
- Feb. 12 – Final voting ends at 11:59 p.m. PST
- Feb. 20 – 52nd Annual CAS Awards in the Crystal Ballroom of the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles, Calif.
