The Cinema Audio Society announced the timetable for its 50th annual awards.
“This year’s CAS Awards Dinner will be celebrating 50 years in the advancement of sound, we’re looking forward to a memorable event and an outstanding group of nominees,” said David Fluhr, president of the society. “The CAS membership has totally embraced our electronic voting process which has resulted in an increase of CAS voter participation in both the CAS Awards and the CAS Technical Awards.”
The timeline is as follows:
Submission Forms available online at CAS website Monday, Oct. 14
Entry Submissions DUE by 5 p.m. (PST) Friday, Nov. 15
Nominations Ballot Voting begins online Wednesday, Dec. 11
Nominations Ballot Voting ends online 5 p.m. (PST) Monday, Jan. 6, 2014
Final Five Nominees announced Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014
Final Voting begins online Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014
Final Voting ends online 5 p.m. (PST) Friday, Feb. 14, 2014
