The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) announced the nominations for its annual awards, scheduled for Feb. 14 at Paramount Studios. The awards honor make-up artists and hair stylists in 19 categories covering motion pictures, television, commercials and live theater.
“We are so excited to receive a record number of entries for our crafts from all over the world,” said guild president Sue Cabral-Ebert. “The response and enthusiasm of the entertainment community was remarkable. Thanks to our dedicated committee who viewed all the submissions and made very tough choices. We are proud of our talented nominees and the work that was submitted this year representing the finest of our craft.”
Final ballot voting begins on Jan. 19 and closes on Feb. 10.
