Barbie leads the pack at the upcoming 14th annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards. In a surprising development to no one, “What Was I Made For?” and “I’m Just a Ken” are both nominated for best original song. Music supervisor, George Drakoulias, is nominated as well, making Barbie the top nominee with presence in three categories.
The ceremony honors outstanding achievement in the craft of Music Supervision in film, television, documentaries, advertising, trailers, and video games. As for the recipients of the Icon and Legacy Awards, that will be announced closer to the awards show, which will take place The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024.
