For Pierre Rouger, who specializes in spots for clients like Cadillac and Dell, and shoots music videos for artists such as Elton John and R. Kelly, the Otto Nemenz selection and service are key selling points. He’s been going to Nemenz since his start in the industry as a camera assistant in 1985.
“They decided to stay a certain size so it’s more controllable for them, and they don’t try to outdo other companies,” says Rouger. “It feels to me that they are keeping control of their inventory as they focus on maintaining their equipment really well. They put a lot of thought into what they purchase and how they make it better for use.”
