Location Managers Guild International Announces 2023 Board of Directors, Executive Board

The Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) is proud to announce the 2023 LMGI Board of Directors Newly elected to the Board is Daniel Finn (CA). A Location Professional from Los Angeles, Finn has won numerous awards for outstanding work in television and feature films.

Finn will serve alongside returning members Jimmy Ayoub (NY), Ken Brooker (Canada), Dan Connolly (UK), Mac Gordon (GA), Eric Klein (NY), Angus Ledgerwood (UK), Edward Mazurek (CA), David McKinney (CA), Robin Macdonald (Canada), John Rakich (Canada), Ryan Schaetzle (GA), Lisa Scope (AUS), Alison A. Taylor (CA), and Scott Trimble (CA).

The 2023 Officers of the Executive Committee were also confirmed at the May 7th Board of Directors meeting. They are President John Rakich, 1st Vice President Alison Taylor, 2nd Vice President Angus Ledgerwood, Treasurer Ken Brooker, and Secretary Lisa Scope.

Said Election Committee Chair, Edward Mazurek, “With eight open board seats and 12 excellent candidates, the 2023 election results, once again, tallied the most votes in LMGI history. This is a testament to our nominees’ professionalism and superb reputations, as well as the engagement of our membership. Congratulations to our elected 2023 Board Members.”

Outgoing from the board is longtime member and treasurer Ken Haber. Vice President Alison Taylor said, “Ken Haber has been a valuable part of this organization for eight years and will be greatly missed as a board member. We wish him the best in his retirement.”

President John Rakich states, “I am again honored that the board of directors have trusted me to continue leading the LMGI. As we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, I look forward to working with this board of dedicated international location professionals to continue our growth. Together we will carry on the foundation for another 20 more years of showing the world who and what we are, not only as indispensable creative collaborators but also as proven leaders and trailblazers on a global level.”
