The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) has released the preliminary results of its national elections. The 8,600-member union has elected Digital Imaging Technician Lewis Rothenberg to his first three-year term as National President of the Guild.
The membership also elected Dejan Georgevich as National Vice President, Christy Fiers as 1st National Vice President and John Lindley, as 2nd National Vice President. In addition, Stephen Wong is the new National Secretary-Treasurer. Jamie Silverstein was elected National Assistant Secretary-Treasurer and Deborah M. Lipman was elected National Sergeant-at-Arms.
Elections were also held for Financial Trustees for the Guild’s three regions, the National Executive Board and for delegates to the IATSE International and District Conventions.
The Local 600 Election results are not final until any protests have been resolved by the Election Committee, and the Committee’s report has been reviewed and accepted by the National Executive Board at its June 22-23 meeting.
“On behalf of the Election Committee, I congratulate the winners and thank the members who voted in the 2019 Local 600 election,” said Peter Hawkins, co-chair of the Local 600 Election Committee. We look forward to certifying the final results and welcoming the newly-elected officers, trustees and delegates in June.”
