The California Film Commission (CFC) is hosting a panel discussion to learn the Indie Producer’s secret weapon: film commissions. This event will take place on Thursday, March 21 at 7pm at the Cabo Wabo Cantina (Hollywood & Highland Center). This event is free and RSVPs are not required. The restaurant will have food and beverages available, and parking validation. Those who attend are invited to stay for the opening-night party of the Golden State Film Festival.

The panel will discuss how to effectively work with the CFC as well as the 58 local film offices statewide. The panel of experts will also talk about community outreach and methods to avoid problems when filming on location. The Panel Moderator for this event is CFC Executive Director Amy Lemisch.
