TMZ has reported that an unidentified crew member has died on the set of ABC‘s The Conners as the result of a “fatal medical event” on the final day of filming its third season.

The crew member, said to be a man in his 50s or 60s, was on the catwalk of Stage 22 at the CBS Studio Center when he suffered some sort of medical emergency. Studio medics were called to the stage, but they were unable to resusciatate, and he was pronounced dead on scene.

The Conners‘ production company, Tom Werner’s Werner Entertainment, confirmed the news in a statement to Deadline: “With heavy hearts we regret to confirm that a member of our technical crew suffered a fatal medical event today. He was a much loved member of The Conners and Roseanne families for over 25 years. As we remember our beloved colleague, we ask that you respect the privacy of his family and loved ones as they begin their grieving process.”

No other details about the man’s identity were given, but this is a breaking story, so check back for any updates as this information is released.
