Foundation Content Opens Culver City Stage

-

The new Foundation Content Los Angeles stage is located in the Cactus Tower on Hayden Tract in Culver City.
Foundation Content recently opened a new Culver City stage – a dedicated pre-rigged, pre-calibrated production environment with the necessary amenities for full-scale commercials, television, features and video games. Housed in the Cactus Tower Building on Hayden Tract in Culver City, Foundation’s LA facility bridges the gap between post and production by bringing a cyc stage (30′ x 40′ and 12′ to the grid), broadcast calibrated client lounge, fully outfitted editing suites, production and conference rooms all into one 5,632 square foot self-contained space.

“It’s exciting to see the new division in LA really taking off, collaborating so well and seamlessly with our Chicago team,” says Evan Cohen, vice president of production. “We’re looking forward to the continued growth this inspired space offers.”

Open only a month, the stage has already been the backdrop for projects as diverse as the online game Rift, a Focus Creeps shoot for the UK based band Arctic Monkeys and a series of online ads for Progressive Insurance directed by James Lipetzky for the Arnold Agency.

The stage is designed to be as turnkey as possible, from simple green screen work to complicated camera tracking. Its adjacent screening room allows clients to view action via plasma, and is equipped with craft service and conferencing amenities.
