Top Gun: Maverick dominated the competition at the 22nd Annual Golden Trailer Awards, which announced its winners on Thursday night at a ceremony in Los Angeles that was hosted by comedian Henry Cho.

Paramount’s high-flying blockbuster won three Golden Trailer Awards, which recognize the best trailers and marketing for movies and TV/streaming series, along with the talented professionals who create the actual work. This year, the Golden Trailer Awards expanded their 2022 categories to include two brand-new categories — Best Drama for TV/Streaming Series and Best Comedy for TV/Streaming Series.

This year’s presenters included Gregg Binkley, Carlos Alaazraqui, Jim Hope, Kiki Yeung, and Khary Payton, while the jury consisted of top-level directors, producers, actors, writers, executives, and advertising creatives. All content created between April 4, 2021 and May 31, 2022 was eligible to be considered for this year’s awards.

“We are thrilled to offer a huge congratulations to all of this year’s honorees and nominees. Their contributions are imperative to this industry and we appreciate their contributions, as well as everyone who came out to support their creativity,” said Golden Trailer Awards co-founder Evelyn Brady-Watters. “We are honored to be able to highlight our two most popular categories (by volume of submissions), which are strategically focused on the new digital era that is having a huge impact on the entertainment industry.”
