Prime Time Softball League: The Rookie and CSI Vegas Head to the League Championship This Saturday

-

After a number of delays in the playoffs due to weather conditions that made the field unplayable, Prime Time Softball League (PTSL) finally got through its Quarter and Semi Finals, leading up to the League Championship on Saturday, Feb. 11 between The Rookie and CSI Vegas. The season finale will take place on Sepulveda Basin Sports Complex, No 2 at 2PM.

The lead-up to the championship saw the Quarter Finals on Jan. 28 between Master Chef and Pretty Freekin Scary (a new show and team this season), and The Neighborhood taking on last season’s champs, American Dad. The latter two teams won in very close games by just a single point, going onto the Semi Finals the following week against CSI Vegas and The Rookie, respectively.

Despite dominating last season, American Dad was shut out by The Rookie 21 to 0, while Pretty Freekin Scary lost to CSI Vegas, another new team this season, by a closer game of 20 to 8. Either way things go this Saturday, the Prime Time Softball League will see a new champion this season.

The Prime Time Softball League is made-up of 10 co-ed teams comprised of the cast, crew, staff, and their immediate family from currently-airing prime-time television shows.
