During the Super Bowl, Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment released a trailer for their upcoming 3D animated feature Minions. Scheduled for release in July, the film stars Sandra Bullock as the evil super villain Scarlet Overkill. Minions is produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy, and is directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda. Brian Lynch wrote the screenplay for the 3D-CG comedy adventure, and Chris Renaud serves as executive producer of the film.
