PNYA Announces Next Post Break Webinar Dealing with Anxiety, Stress Amid Covid

Post BreakThe Post New York Alliance (PNYA) continues its regular online “Post Break” Webinar series this Thursday, October 15 at 4pm, with a rather apt and timely topic titled,  Building Mental Resilience in the Age of COVID.

Only a few days after World Mental Health Day, PNYA is offering a few strategies for dealing with the unprecedented stress most of us are feeling right now.  The panel will include a diverse array of experts to offer insights into maintaining one’s mental well-being, particularly to those working in the post-production industry, discussing techniques for dealing with anxiety, while maintaining a positive and productive outlook*. The main webinar, attendees will have the opportunity to break out into smaller groups for networking and discussion.

Debby Germino

Debby Germino is a film and television editor (Fargo, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Smallville, Genius), endurance athlete and author of the Happiness in Training publication on Medium. She writes about happiness, health and mindful living, and enjoys supporting others in creating happy and fulfilling lives.

Michelle Colt

Michelle Colt is a nervous system expert who has taught the program Inside Game® in New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco for 16 years. Her clients consistently experience rich, powerful, lasting career and life changes. They “let go” of resistances and fears holding them back and feel a rich connection to the pulse of life.

Lillian Gallina

Lillian Gallina is a licensed clinical social worker at the Actors Fund where she supervises the Mental Health Program in the Eastern Region, which provides emergency financial assistance, clinical case management and mental health services to entertainment professionals. She also leads workshops and training programs on topics including Responding to Sexual Harassment, Addressing Workplace Dynamics, Managing Anxiety and Depression and Identifying and Responding to Substance Abuse.

Isabel Sadurni

The panel will be moderated by Isabel Sadurni, who has worked in documentary filmmaking for nearly 20 years. She has contributed to feature-length documentaries and short narratives that have screened at top-tier festivals including Berlin, Telluride and Tribeca and aired on HBO, PBS and The Discovery Channel. Her credits included the recent releases What She Said: The Art of Pauline Kael and The American Nurse.
