Loyalkaspar Opens Los Angeles Office

Executive producer Mandy Novak

Thanks to an influx in creative demand from the West Coast, Loyalkaspar, the creative agency led by David Herbruck and Beat Baudenbacher, has launched a Los Angeles office. The company has also added Richard Eng as the office’s creative director and Mandy Novak as executive producer.

“This year has been an amazing one for us and it quickly became apparent that we were going to need to be in L.A. if we were going to keep up with the demands of the relationships we’ve forged with the entertainment community there,” Herbruck said. “We’re fortunate to have two well-respected pros in Richard Eng and Mandy Novak making sure the process and the culture that have served us so well for the past nine years are consistent in the new office.”

Creative director, Richard Eng

Honored with AIGA, Creativity, BDA, Telly, Promax and One Show awards, Eng comes to Loyalkaspar from Digital Kitchen where he served as executive creative director. Eng’s career includes senior creative roles at several leading design/animation studios. Eng’s also spent time on the client side – working as an art director at Nick at Nite, where he directed the network’s rebrand and new logo.

Novak joins Loyalkaspar following five years as an executive producer at the design company Fish Eggs in Venice, CA. Before Fish Eggs, Novak was post producer on the NBC show Fear Factor for nearly five years, and post producer for two years on Deal or No Deal.

Concurrent with the opening of the L.A. office is the expansion of the company’s SoHo office, which currently occupies 6,000 square feet housing a full time creative staff of 20.

According to Herbruck, the launch of the West Coast hub – located in a storefront on Melrose Ave in West Hollywood – was necessitated by several new assignments, the desire to be near clients and because the company is operating at max capacity in its SoHo, New York space.
