RED Digital Cinema Announces New Location in Miami

-

RED Digital Cinema is hosting a grand opening on June 13 to commemorate the opening of its newest retail store located in Miami, Fla. In the heart of the Wynwood Art District—home to over 70 collections, museums and galleries, the newly designed space will showcase the latest RED camera innovations and serve as a gallery for works shot on RED.

Scheduled during the monthly Art Walk celebration in Wynwood, the event will provide visitors with the opportunity to interact with the latest RED innovations as well as to leave their mark on RED’s newest location. Attendees will be encouraged to help decorate the police car in the center of the showroom floor, providing the inspiration for a local artist to turn the car into a finished work of art that will be used for onsite customer demonstrations.

“The Wynwood Art District is the ideal location for our newest RED store,” said Jarred Land, RED Digital Cinema president. “The vibe and art within that area gets the creative juices flowing for everyone – including the local current and future RED shooters.  In addition, the location not only allows us to service shooters in the Miami-area, but provides easier RED access to all of the Southeastern U.S. plus Latin America.”

The store features hands-on product demonstrations and offers sales, workflow and technical support, while the gallery will show high-resolution prints that are created from RED’s stills from motion workflow. The stills from motion process allows shooters to easily select their ideal image from footage shot on their RED camera—empowering photographers to capture every moment.
