In light of the rain, it may be just as well. But the “Strike a Deal” coalition has announced a new date for their “let’s get this settled, get this done, and keep us from losing our houses” (if we may be permitted the subtext) rally to get the Great Hollywood Strike of ‘Aught Seven settled at last:

In view of the resumption of constructive talks between the WGA and the AMPTP, coupled with an unexpected permitting conflict at the LAPD, we have decided to take a collective deep breath of patience and postpone our March/Rally until Sunday, Dec. 9 (same place, same time).
