On Wednesday, May 24th, #NetflixFYsee invites you to take part in a screening of The Crown followed by a conversation with Claire Foy and Matt Smith. The Crown focuses on Queen Elizabeth II as a 25-year-old newlywed as she leads the United Kingdom while forging a relationship with Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill. Already making an impact on the awards circuit, The Crown has won Golden Globe awards for both Best Television Series – Drama and Best Performance by an Actress – Drama. Claire Foy and John Lithgow have also won SAG awards in their respective categories. In addition, The Crown has won BAFTA TV Craft Awards for Best Costume Design and Best Special, Visual & Graphic Effects.
The screening begins at 8 pm at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills with panel immediately following.

Last night, Netflix FYSEE hosted an event featuring a panel with some of the below-the-line talent that brought The Crown to life, including Martin Childs (production designer), Michele Clapton (costume designer), Stephen Daldry (director/EP), and Adriano Goldman (cinematographer).
Only three weeks into May, Netflix has already generated much talk going into the Emmy season by aiming to bring the best of their library to life through their unique exhibition events, under the banner of FYSEE. Kicking off on May 7th, Netflix’s FYSEE events have allowed industry leaders to firsthand experience some of their favorite titles such as House of Cards, One Day at a Time, Grace and Frankie and Five Came Back.
