Picture Shop is expanding their sales team by promoting two industry veterans. Donnie Keala Creighton, previously director of dailies, will become the director of sales for all of the company’s core work from dailies through finishing. Sarah McGrail, formerly senior supervising producer of VFX, will move into the role of director of VFX sales. Both will be reporting to Picture Shop’s EVP sales & marketing, Robert Glass.
“As our company expands we want to ensure that our sales team has meaningful conversations and interactions with our potential and current clients. I want to make sure that our clients’ needs and goals are met” stated Glass. “I’m building a sales team that has true expertise in technology, workflow and client relations all of which Sarah and Donnie exemplify.”
Creighton has over 15 years in post production. Beginning his career as a runner, he worked his way up through various departments until he became a DI producer for feature films. He also worked in the on-location dailies division for CBS‘s Hawaii Five-0 before returning and accepting a position as head of dailies.
McGrail started her career as a production assistant and quickly found her way to VFX. Throughout her 13 years in the industry she has worked on critically acclaimed projects such as Orange is the New Black, MacGyver and NCIS: New Orleans. She has been nominated for multiple awards and is a member of Producers Guild of America, Television Academy, Visual Effects Society, and Women in Film.
With their experience developing UHD, 4K and HDR workflows Creighton and McGrail will be reportedly focusing on expanding the company’s post-production & VFX offerings to the over the top marketplace in addition to studio clientele. The two will work together as a team presenting clients with all of Picture Shop’s services and customizing seamless unique solutions for each project.
