Fluid announced the addition of editor John Piccolo (JP) to its lineup. JP recently teamed up with @radical‘s Dave Meyers and BBDO on the ADDY Award-winning “Exploded” spot, as part of the “Never Stop Improving” campaign for Lowe’s. He has also recently collaborated with a few of the industry’s top directors such Hungry Man‘s Hank Perlman, O Positive‘s Kenny Herzog and HSI‘s Ryan Ebner. His agency relationships include DDB NY, BBDO, Mullen, Fallon and Y+R.

“JP has set a standard of excellence with his work that is universally respected by his clients and everyone that works with him,” noted Fluid EP Laura Relovsky. “His acumen in comedy and storytelling, his experience incorporating heavy CG, and his interest in sound, music and production will fit in perfectly at Fluid.”

JP, who joins Fluid from Cutting Room, where he worked his way up from runner to editor, is eager to get going at Fluid. “I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone at Fluid, learning their styles, building friendships and collaborating to make great work,” he said. “Having music composers, sound designers, visual effects artists, colorists and editors all under one roof definitely creates camaraderie that I can’t wait to be a part of. Having such a collaborative atmosphere will definitely translate into putting out the best work possible for our clients. Also, on a personal note I’m a foodie and poker player – and everyone here seems to be too – so that’ll be fun!”

JP rounds out a roster that includes editors Robin Burchill, Jim Rubino, John Mallerman, Geraldine Garcia-Esquivel, Peter Sabatino, and Zeke O’Donnell.
