Brent Edwards and Dave Crosslin

Creative editorial and finishing boutique, STS-GRIOT, located just north of Detroit, has added two editors, Brent Edwards and Dave Crosslin to its roster. The new online online/VFX/compositor, Edwards, has 13 years of postproduction experience lending to his talents as a finishing editor, compositor and colorist. Edwards handle tasks ranging from sky replacement to automotive model corrections, to talent cosmetic adjustments. Brent’s client list includes, Bissell, GM, USPS, Chrysler, DuPont, UPS, Ford, Perkins Restaurants, Michigan Lottery, Navy, LaZBoy, Carrier, Simply Orange, Alltell, Mazda, FIAT, and Arby’s.

STS-GRIOT has also welcomed Crosslin as creative editor and director. Dave brings more than nine years’ experience. Starting out as an assistant editor, Crosslin honed his skills cutting for the U.S. Navy, Compuware, Cox Communications, and more. Crosslin soon vaulted into the director’s chair, shooting spots for Compuware, NAIAS and the Black Magic/Rain-X/Gumout brands. Dave recently completed editorial on set for Ford, “Best Place to Be,” shot in Los Angeles and Seattle. He also led two spots for the Chevy “confidence” campaign, one of which aired during the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremonies. “We’re ecstatic to now offer true turn-key service to our clientele,” STS-GRIOT owner Terry King said. “The addition of both Dave and Brent really rounds us out nicely.”
