The Artery has named award winning ad agency and commercial industry head of production Deborah Sullivan to the position of executive producer and managing director. Vico Sharabani, The Artery’s founder & creative director, made the announcement.
Since joining the company, Sullivan has already produced a national five-spot Smart Car campaign for Merkley+Partners, representing The Artery’s expanding role in supporting it’s client roster across all production and post solutions. Sharabani directed the live-action campaign and The Artery handled all editorial, visual effects, final color and finishing.
“We’ve been supporting major clients in a very exclusive and collaborative manner for four years now – since our founding in 2012,” said Sharabani. “So our secret service-offerings are no longer so secret! We are expanding very rapidly and quickly evolving into a multi-disciplinary Art and Technology company. As a key member of our senior management team, Deborah is already playing a crucial role leading this growth. Her vast experience in top-tier agency work, production and editorial operations will continue to help us grow in strategic and systematic new ways.”
“What attracted me to The Artery is their focus on the artistry behind each of their projects, and the fact that, throughout each execution, the artists lead this very collaborative process,” added Sullivan. “A world-renowned flame artist himself, Vico has assembled a stellar group of talented artists that excel across all disciplines – VFX, color, CG, 3D, and animation. We are also actively moving forward with our Virtual Reality and Experiential capabilities. My colleagues here are a very special team.”
Prior to joining The Artery, Deborah Sullivan had most recently been managing director and executive producer for the international post-production companies NO6 and Peepshow Post. Earlier, she led advertising production departments for DDB NY, FCB and others, and was a founding partner of independent agency Berlin Cameron and Partners. Sullivan has also held executive producer posts with @Radical.media, Red Dog Films and The Bomb Factory.
During the course of her career, Sullivan has built solid relationships with top-tier creative and artists; produced work for the world’s most iconic brands; and garnered an impressive list of industry honors, including Effies, Cannes Lions, AICE and AICP Awards, to name just some.
In her new role with The Artery, Sullivan will focus on melding the company’s rapidly expanding creative offerings to best service its diverse client base. “With our growing client roster, increased creative capabilities and an amazingly robust pipeline in place, we’re perfectly positioned to partner with creative teams, directors and producers across the globe to deliver the absolute highest level of creative solutions across all platforms,” she concluded.
