Bexel’s Hercules HD Flypack will play a pivotal role in the simulation of a live broadcast truck located at Canon U.S.A.’s booth (C4325, C3628) during NAB 2013. Bexel collaborated with Canon on the system, which utilizes Canon’s new 4K monitors, currently under development, along with an Evertz Dreamcatcher unit.

Bexel’s Hercules HD Flypack is scalable and customizable, bringing production facilities to remote and space-constrained venues. Powering some of the most important televised live events – including the Olympic Games, Super Bowl, X Games, World Cup and U.S. Open – the Flypack is configured with every component of a high-end production control room.

“Canon’s innovative approach and products are perfectly meshed with Bexel’s dedication to high-end solutions, combined with our extensive experience in live sports broadcasting,” said Tom Dickinson, CTO of Bexel. “As Canon puts their incredible imaging technologies into play at 4K for sports, we are looking forward to our ongoing collaboration on this exciting initiative.”
