FOR-A’s FT-ONE full 4K variable frame rate camera was used recently to shoot Red Bull Straight Rhythm – a competition featuring an evolution of Supercross where a track is “unwound,” meaning it has no turns and is a half-mile-long. The event took place in Pomona, Calif, on Oct. 4. The FT-ONE captured super-slow motion coverage of the Supercross competition between 32 riders.
“We’ve used the FT-ONE for several Red Bull events, and the camera always seamlessly fits into our live productions,” said Sumesh Thakur, of OceanWatch Production Group, Red Bull’s production house. “Red Bull’s recent Supercross event was no different. The FT-ONE is an ideal live-show camera that enables us to capture all of the action in super slow motion, allowing for tremendous creativity in our live-event production.”
