FOR-A’s new ZE-ONE 4K extraction system.
At the upcoming Sports Video Group Summit, FOR-A will demo its new ZE-ONE 4K extraction system for the first time in the U.S. The ZE-ONE was developed for use with FOR-A’s FT-ONE 4K super slow motion camera, which will also be on display at the summit, Dec. 16-17 at the New York Hilton.

“The SVG Summit always attracts key decision makers in the sports industry, focusing on new technologies that offer great benefits to live sports producers,” said Jay Shinn, northeast account manager at FOR-A. “We’re looking forward to showing off our FT-ONE camera with the ZE-ONE 4K extraction system. When combined, the technologies ensure that all action can be replayed in HD.”

First shown at this year’s IBC, the ZE-ONE allows FT-ONE users to frame and extract desired 4K image areas to capture the action for HD replays. The system provides operators with an intuitive touch-screen interface to frame and extract specified HD scenes at any size from 4K sources. The ZE-ONE allows operators to smoothly zoom in or out, and includes an embedded audio delay processor.

The FT-ONE offers users the ability to simultaneously record and play back super slow motion images at full 4K resolution. Enabling high-speed recording at up to 900 frames per second, the FT-ONE has been used in production of a variety of professional sporting events, including football, wakeboarding, automobile racing, rugby games and ice cross downhill competitions.
