Post house Company 3 announced colorist Sofie Borup has joined the growing team at its New York facility. Borup has been based at the Santa Monica facility since moving to the U.S. from Denmark. Working in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Berlin and Mexico City, she has colored commercials for Audi, Lexus, Volvo, Nike, Firestone, BLK DNM, RedBull and other commercial clients. She has also worked on a number of music videos for artists including James Blake, MGMT, Capital Cities, Aloe Blacc, Feist, 1975, David Byrne and Fever Ray. She has also colored feature films including Infinitely Polar Bear, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

Borup brings technical experience and a background in visual effects to every color session. Moving to New York is the realization of both a professional and personal dream of Borup’s. “I love New York and I’ve always wanted to one day live and work here,” she said. “There is so much exciting work happening in New York these days and I really look forward to being part of that.”

Borup will continue to be available to work remotely with clients at Company 3’s locations in Santa Monica, Atlanta and London and throughout the world with any of the 26 Company 3 “virtual outposts.”
