Ntropic Delivers Stylized Campaign for Olay

-

Ntropic founder Nate Robinson and recently signed creative director/Flame artist Steve Zourntos have taken on their first project together since Ntropic opened its new office in New York last August. Robinson and Zourntos teamed up for the concepting, production, design, effects and color for a visually stylized Olay commercial campaign.

The Olay creatives from Saatchi & Saatchi/NY approached Zourntos about Ntropic taking care of the entire package for them including production. As the project got underway, they collaborated closely with Robinson and Zourntos from Ntropic’s new space in Manhattan’s meatpacking district.

“This was such a great opportunity to work with Steve on a project of this caliber,” explained Robinson, who began directing two years ago. “Steve opened up this amazing opportunity for us and I really wanted to own the project with him. The most beautiful part was that we collaborated effortlessly together, and we are both psyched with the end result.”

“I was drawn to signing with Ntropic in the fall because the New York office is small and personable, and has the extensive assets of the teams in Los Angeles and San Francisco to pull from,” said Zourntos. “Additionally, Ntropic works on such a diversity of projects in commercials and advertising, but also in film, television and experiential. I know the Olay brand well and have worked with them for years. Being at a boutique like Ntropic allowed the amazing opportunity to execute the entire package.”

Zourntos joined Ntropic in the fall of 2011. His portfolio includes work on high-profile commercial campaigns, major motion pictures, and primetime TV shows. He has done extensive work in the beauty category including work on Olay, Clinique, Almay, Maybelline and L’Oreal. Zourntos completed the main titles and effects work for the feature film Snow Angels for Warner Independent Pictures. His TV credits include opening title sequences for Medium, Kid Nation and Police Women of Broward County.

Zourntos also helped found Headlight Design and Visual Effects – the design and VFX arm of Crossroads Films and 89 Editorial. He has also worked with Click 3X in New York, Toronto-based Axyzfx and Panic & Bob.
