Optimus announced the addition of Morgan James as animation director. Working with Optimus creative director Mike Ciacciarelli, James will serve as a technical and creative leader for Optimus, particularly in the area of CG animation.

Morgan comes to Optimus after spending several years freelancing in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. He brings a wealth of organizational and cultural knowledge from working at design powerhouses such as Buck, Blind, Digital Kitchen and Hornet. Working with those companies, he helped bring to life campaigns for Microsoft, McDonald’s, Mountain Dew, Nike and more as an animation and design leader.
