-

The Hollywood Post Alliance announced that its 18th annual Tech Retreat is set to take place Feb. 14-17, at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort in Indian Wells, Calif. Over the course of four days, the industry’s technical, business and creative leaders will gather for exploration and information exchange, focusing on the latest developments and trends.

For nearly two decades, the topics and attendees gathering at the HPA Tech Retreat have helped to define and clarify the trends and technologies driving the industry.

The HPA Tech Retreat is designed for participants to gather in a collegial atmosphere and dive into the most current and relevant topics impacting the industry and their work. During networking events, presentations and technology demonstrations, the Tech Retreat presents opportunities for attendees to stay competitive and informed of significant industry issues and trends.

The event opens on Feb. 13 for early registration and a pre-Retreat seminar from Charles Poynton. Feb. 14 events include the HPA Supersession on Snowflake Work Flows, Part II and a seminar on ATSC 2.0: Enhancing Today’s DTV Services. The Tech Retreat Conference begins Feb. 15 and runs through mid-day Feb. 17. The entire event features back-to-back programming of presentations and seminars as well as demo rooms showing the newest in technology and providing the opportunity to talk one-on-one with the engineers and product innovators. Rounding out the event are breakfast roundtable discussions and networking opportunities.
