“We are so excited to have Wes join us at Lucky Post,” says Lucky Post EP Jessica Berry. “He has a great sense of humor which is reflected in his editing. He is a very positive person to be around and his creative energy is contagious.”
Berry first met Williams when he was assistant editor on director Jeff Bednarz’s award-winning short documentary Take Me to The Water. Williams, who has known fellow editor Selvarajan since college, worked freelance at Lucky Post when the company opened, editing “Vlingo” for Directorz’ David Wild among other projects.
“I’ve edited projects in every genre, but especially love comedy, because when it is done well, it is rooted in truth,” Williams said. “With any project, editing is timing and pacing, but also about finding authenticity and coming to the collaboration with a voice. Sincerity, even in comedy, plays an important part.”
