Thunder Studios has officially opened Thunder Digital Media (TDM) – a 150,000 square foot production studio in Los Angeles.
With a studio four times larger than YouTube Space LA, TDM will offer integrated studio services and stage rentals for film and television production, as well as gaming and e-sports. Clients will also have the opportunity to interact with musicians, filmmakers and commercial directors through a series of upcoming events.
The studio features 20 stages, including a 10,000 square foot gaming stage, a VR stage, a music recording studio and a screening room with full mixing and editing tools. The studio has its own catering as well as its own Starbucks and a 24 hour self-serve snack bar.
Productions currently made at TDM include Funny or Die‘s Spoils of Babylon, Bunim Murray‘s “Motor City Masters, Tyler Perry‘s Man and Wife, as well as independent films and music videos for Rihanna, Beyoncé, Daft Punk, Korn, Tyga, Justin Bieber and Pharrell.
